Crafting stories on the human side of medicine
The University of Calgary Departments of Paediatrics and Medicine needed to communicate their impact and contributions to a broad community that included government, prospective students, faculty, and financial funders. These stories of achievement went beyond statistics and numbers and firmly landed on the people and the clinicians behind the science and the results.
The solution was to utilize their respective annual reports as a magazine-style editorial platform that drove readers to their respective websites. Working alongside writers, photographers, and designers we dug into the people, the science, and the outcomes to weave engaging and topical stories that highlighted Departmental achievements. These amazing stories of healthcare innovation, empathy, and discovery firmly set the University of Calgary on the national and global medical stage.
