Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut
A luxury product with a history to share
Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut is a brand with a regal history steeped in centuries of family knowledge and Belgian chocolate mastery. Over the years the brand voice of this North American company had become a confused collection of messaging, tactics, and imagery that did little to sell the luxury product.
My role was to creative direct and design a brand evolution that communicated the quality, luxury, and history of this Callebaut family descendant. Central to the rebrand was master chocolatier Bernard Callebaut and the simplicity, beauty and flavours of his hand-made chocolates. This was captured through a photography series that highlighted each individual chocolate inspired by the purest and finest of ingredients. Brand pillars of family history, raw product sourcing, and chocolate making were added to the product photography and when woven together created a brand voice that told a timeless, rich and authentic story.
